Thank you to our volunteers: #VolunteersWeek2023
It’s National Volunteers’ Week (1 – 7 June). We’re celebrating with a big, warm THANK YOU to all our amazing WGN volunteers.
They support our work with older people throughout the year – from delivering festive-cheer bags, to toasting crumpets, spending time with our members, serving lunches, and helping to shape the future of our award-winning organisation.

We need more volunteers! In particular, we’re seeking volunteers for the following roles:
- Drivers – to support our new Volunteer Drivers Scheme (launching later this year) – connecting older residents to their local community
- Board members – with finance, HR, legal and fundraising skills – to help steer our community interest company.
