Volunteer Application Form 2019/20
For this scheme, a volunteer is someone who freely gives their time and skills for the benefit of the elderly client group and other volunteers within the team. Please complete this form as it relates to your volunteering role for the good and safe coordination of the project and for health and safety risk assessment for all participants.
Wythenshawe Good Neighbours (WGN) work mainly with elderly, vulnerable adults and young people and as such has a duty of care to all participants. With that in mind, WGN will conduct DBS checks through a third party Due Diligence Checking (DDC) if appropriate to your chosen role. It is important at this stage that you declare any offences that may appear on your police check. All declarations will be treated in confidence and will not necessarily bar you from working with the project. Completion of an induction is not an offer of a volunteer role.
