Summer’s here and so is our WGN June Newsletter
In our WGN June Newsletter we focus on local-level support to help combat social isolation, and some of the worrying impacts of rising food costs, including Brooklands Community Cafe & Pantry at the Brooklands Church of the Nazarene and coffee & chat social and craft activities at Benchill Community Centre.
We have the chance for two of our members to win a paperback prize through our Literature Word Search Competition and news of how to enter Read Manchester / National Literacy Trust monthly ‘Poetry Place‘ competition.
Last but not least, we are celebrating national Volunteers’ Week with a big, warm thank you to all our volunteers for supporting our work throughout the year – from delivering our festive-cheer bags, to toasting crumpets and serving lunch.
