We love WGN – read our February 2025 Newsletter
You can read and download the Wythenshawe Good Neighbours (WGN) Feb 2025 Newsletter here.
Features include:
- A call-out to WGN Members for content and case studies for our updated ‘My resilience matters’ folder.
- A ‘highlights’ review of WGN activity and impacts of our services.
- Time to renew (or join) WGN Membership (which allows access to our Volunteer Drivers Scheme).
- Reminding Members that we have been chosen as a Co-op UK Local Community Fund cause for 2024/5. We want all our supporters to help spread the word that Co-op Members can select us as their preferred community cause. This will help us to raise funds for two coach trips for WGN Members to enjoy this year. One in the summer (i.e. to a seaside destination) and one in the autumn.
- Members’ chance to vote for their preferred day-trip destinations.
- A ‘We love WGN’ Valentine’s Word Search.
- Fascinating and fun February facts.
- Independent Age advice for keeping well this winter.
- Community news – Warm Welcome Spaces in Wythenshawe; Northenden Theatre Players Club quiz and forthcoming plays.
