WGN festive-cheer bags 2022
22 12 2022

We’re wishing our members merry Christmas with our festive-cheer bags!

Katherine News

We’ve been busy packing our festive-cheer bags for our members. Some received theirs at our coffee morning at Wythenshawe Amateurs Football Club. Our volunteer drivers have been helping to distribute the rest. A big thank you to them.

The bags are full of goodies, including a cosy blanket, a special festive edition of our WGN Christmas Newsletter 2022 and personalised Christmas Card, a box of mince pies and a selection of hot drink sachets. There’s also a booklet with advice regarding keeping warm and well this winter, along with contact details for organisations that can offer support – including Manchester City Council’s FREE Cost of Living Advice Line: 0800 023 2692.

The bags have been funded through Manchester City Council’s Neighbourhood Investment Fund and a Wythenshawe Community Housing Group Community Grant. We are very grateful to both organisations for their generous support.

Merry Christmas everybody!

Thanks to our festive-cheer bags funders:
