Festive-cheer boxes delivered by our volunteer drivers!

Katherine News

Our festive-cheer boxes, full of goodies and our Christmas newsletter, are now going out – delivered by our amazing volunteer drivers!

Wythenshawe Good Neighbours festive-cheer boxes

Last year the boxes went down a treat with our members and we received some great feedback:

“The hamper is lovely. A nice surprise, and it really cheered me up!”

Thank you to all our volunteers for everything they do to support our members throughout the year – from our drivers, to everyone who helps at our coffee mornings and lunches, and the community bakers who have made delicious cakes all year.

We are so grateful for their fantastic contributions to our services for older residents.

We’d also like to thank the following organisations for their generous funding towards this year’s festive-cheer boxes: Wythenshawe Community Housing Group; Manchester City Council Neighbourhood Investment Fund; Ambition for Ageing and The National Lottery Community Fund.
