Celebrating 15 years of WGN – read all about it in our October Newsletter
November 2025 sees Wythenshawe Good Neighbours (WGN) community group celebrate fifteen years of helping to connect older residents to their local community and to each other.
Set up in 2010 as an unfunded social group – by Peel Hall resident, and now WGN volunteer chair, Marie Greenhalgh – we evolved into a Manchester City Council funded Good Neighbours group in 2015. We now have over 200 Members – and more older people are welcome to join us.
In this special Newsletter, we take a look back at fifteen significant milestones. What we’ve achieved together, how much we’ve grown and what’s coming up next. Celebrate with us!
