Announcing three-year funding for WGN in our April 2026 Newsletter

Our April Newsletter is packed with WGN news. There’s lots going on, including:
  • the exciting announcement of a new, three-year funding agreement for WGN from Manchester City Council’s Our Manchester Fund
  • the launch of WGN’s new ‘My resilience matters’ resource folder for Members
  • WGN Manager, Samantha’s Great Manchester Run 10k challenge to raise funds for two day-trips for our Members to enjoy
  • a feature about WGN Members who won slow cookers and a Blossom recipe folder (kindly provided by Manchester City Council’s South Manchester Neighbourhoods Team and Blossom).  Also, photos of a free raffle at our Community Lunch (goodies provided by FareShare Greater Manchester).

In addition, we have a Springtime quiz, with two winners’ prizes up for grabs. Also featured is a savoury recipe from Blossom charity’s recipe folder.

Wider community news includes an important reminder about Photo ID being required for voting at local elections in Manchester next month.
